My Photography ✭
Photography has always been the place I return to, it’s where everything clicks into place & I feel most like myself. I specialize in portraiture although I’m expanding towards events & creative work as well. I love all types of photography but the diversity that portraiture brings is unbeatably stunning.
I’ve always been drawn to those small moments that people walk right past, that one glimmer of light or the perfect expression on someone's face. I love turning those split second moments into something you can feel & remember forever. I have never felt more joy than experiencing someone love their picture, a glimpse of themselves captured in a way that they want to be seen. Authenticity is everything to me, the genuine part of someone is the most beautiful & it is my mission to create an environment where you can be that version of yourself.
Alongside my photography experience is modeling, which is a leading factor in my comfort in front of & behind the camera. It’s instinctive for me to guide clients through posing, like subtle facial expressions or even finger placement, as I do for myself as a model. This perspective is extremely important to help calm the nerves of being the main focus, doing so we are able to produce expressive & refined images.
At the beginning of 2026 I also expanded to digital collaging which was an organic transition with the knowledge I have from photography & modeling. It took me 5 hours to collect images & create my first collage. When I presented my piece, it brought my class to tears, they decided that I was to make a series instead of multiple drafts. My natural talents were recognized by Brayden Meng, “The Executive Director of ArtIs” & I was added to the team as “Director of Media”, I’m ecstatic to explore this art form further too.

About My Journey ✭
My photography experience began with a small Canon Powershoot SX410 for my 10th birthday, I started learning how to shoot nature landscapes, mainly on family trips. Later I loved playing with a Mini Polaroid Instax (which I still have) & taking pictures of my friends at 13. I’ve been wanting to explore film photography since then & will finally have the opportunity to in August of 2026.
Taking pictures with friends sparked my interest in portraiture & I realized I had a talent for photographing the human “feeling”. At 15 my dad gifted me a Nikon CoolPix A900 & I started taking senior photos for my friends with that. I really started to focus on portraiture & how I can show different personalities.
I moved from Texas to California & at 19 I decided to start Chloe Hill Photos, to share my art with the world. I invested in a Nikon D3400 & tons of equipment to start my first real session. Since then I haven’t stopped working & photographed for notable organizations such as “The Aids Memorial with Nancy Pelosi”, “Stanford Climate week”, “24K Pacific” & “Insight Chambers”.
I truly live for my craft & being able to make a living from it is more than I could ever wish for. Having that become a reality is unbelievable & I want to thank all my clients for supporting my dream. If you’d like to support as well, check out some of my work below ↴
